Bearded Dragons

Bearded Dragon on log

Introduction

Not many people will think of a Bearded Dragon when they think about pets. However, Bearded Dragons can make great pets in any home. They do not require a lot of space and can have their own varying personalities. They are also relatively easy to care for compared to other reptile pets. They have a varying diet of vegetables and insects and require a warm environment with a spot to bask in. Though the care is relatively easy compared to many other reptiles, they still require specific care that shouldn't be neglected. A cool feature of having a pet Bearded Dragon is that they can be handled. It is important, however, to handle them starting from a young age so they will become accustomed to it and to prevent them from becoming stressed out when held.
